Dude, you've got some sweet pics there. I can't wait to see the results when you get to taking shots of biking.

Ya, we've got one here. I know what you mean about Pentax cameras. My MX is almost 30 years old and it's still running fine! The K20's price through L&S isn't that bad. I wouldn't mind paying for the body or even for the kit. One question though, does your K100 use the K-mount for the lenses?

Haha, that's nuts. So I was right about the K20 then. I only just saw it yesterday in an American Photo magazine. How did you purchase your K100, retail or online?

Oh, cool. I was under the impression that the K100 was their top of the line, but I guess the K20 would be? Just guessing. I really like the photos you've uploaded there, very high quality in all aspects. Keep it up!

Haha, awesome. I've handled the D40, and I've got to say that it's good, but not really worth the money in my opinion. The K100 is their top of the line commercial DSLR, if I'm not mistaken, so it looks like you got definitely your bang for the buck.

Dude, that's not bad! A freaking Nikon D40 with a prime and a telephoto retails at something like 1200 new, so you got a pretty nice deal.

W O W. That is fine! My favourite is the Lizard Skins grip shot you have there, I especially like the lighting you have on it too.

Dude, that is an insanely nice camera.

Sweet! I bet you love it too. If and when I go digital, I'll probably get that too, but I think a Pentax 645 (medium format) is more more around the corner. I hope you post some pics you've taken with your new beauty soon!

Aha, yeah, that's definite perk. What kind of lenses do you have/want to get?

Sweet! I read in a photo mag lying around in my photography class that the new pentax digitals can still use the old lenses. Now that is cool.

They do have some flex compared to last years, but Devinci has been good to me so I'm sure it'll treat me well. I don't really need a 9in fully for where I am, but I like the bike. Ride DH mainly at Blue, but hangout in the Don Valley most often.

It's a great DH improvement. I used my 04' for everything. The 08' seems to have a race oriented feel about it, I'm sure it has to somewhat do with my build choice. The frame is super light and four differing geo selections. It's my first bike with an air shock and I'm not totally set on it. Haven't really had an opportunity to ride it much with the snow. Took about 3 hours to set up the rear shock and had a half decent ride this past Tuesday. Should be an interesting learning curve.
